Privacy Policy
How this site handles data: privacy-friendly analytics, no account, and a clear note on the tools.
Last updated: 27 June 2026.This policy explains what information Hytils collects and how it is used. It’s a free, fan-made site, and we keep data collection to the minimum needed to run it.
No account, no personal data
There is no sign-up, login or account. We do not ask for, or collect, personal information such as your name or email — unless you choose to email us directly (see Contact).
The tools run in your browser
The level, star, guild and ratio calculators and the chat generator run entirely on your device. The numbers and text you type are never sent to us.
The one exception: Hytale UUID lookup
When you use the Hytale UUID lookup, the name or UUID you enter is sent to our server, which forwards it to the public PlayerDB service to fetch the result. We cache results briefly to keep it fast and reduce load; we don’t store a history of who looked up what.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. These are privacy-friendly: they are cookieless, do not track you across other sites, and do not build a profile of you. They record anonymised, aggregated data such as page views and load times.
